KW Symphony Youth Orchestra Programs:

Auditions are coming very soon!

I trust that you are aware of the upcoming Youth Orchestra Program auditions and that you have started to work on the audition materials?

If you did not have a chance to get the audition excerpts, please contact Barb Kaplanek BKaplanek@kwsymphony.on.ca to get the PDF of the music. Hard copies of the audition materials can be also picked up from the Conrad Centre For The Performing Arts, 36 King St. W., Kitchener.

Rehearsal Location: Conrad Centre For The Performing Arts, 36 King St. W., Kitchener
Performance Location: Centre In The Square, 101 Queen St. S., Kitchener
Preludium Strings: Entry level string ensemble; Tuesday rehearsals 5:15 to 6:15 pm; September through April.
Youth Strings: Intermediate Level String Ensemble; Tuesday rehearsals, 5:30 to 7:00 pm. September through April. Conducted by Angela Cox-Daly.
Youth Sinfonia: Advanced Level String Ensemble; Wednesday rehearsals, 5:30 – 7:00 pm, September through April
Youth Orchestra: Sunday rehearsals, 1:00 to 3:30 pm, September through April at Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU), Faculty Of Music.
Awards & Scholarships are available to deserving recipients.
The KWS is offering partial and full bursaries to families demonstrating need.
